| Super cool Keith Herring inspired "T" - I'm not sure what the π represents… |
- Get good at the numbers, money and financials of business - it is necessary for your survival.
- Communicate well with others - everyone you work for or with.
- The client is the center of the universe - at least they should be made to feel that they are the number #1 point of interest to whom you are serving.
- Treat the client great - visit, dine and play with your clients to build trust
- Learn to hire well.
- Good project management is the key to success and growth.
I appreciated Charlies' solid advice in regards to being hired by JT — he suggested that our portfolios:
Good times.
…show thinking and process in order to stand out from other applicants…

Visual Rhythm - Mind Map
A quick (5 min) brainstorm separating the words "Visual" and "Rhythm":
Below is a translation of my sloppy notes:
RHYTHM
| straight from the notebook (I'm not sure why I drew the "=/heart" thing - I hope I remember |
RHYTHM
- LIVELY
- ALIVE - PLEASING
- THERAPEUTIC
- RELAXING - DRUMS
- BEATS
- CONSISTENCY
- HEART
- PULSE - MUSIC
- HARMONY
- COMPOSITION
- MELODY
VISUAL
- NON-AUDIO
- EYE CATCHING
- PROVOKING
- ART
- DESIGN - EYES
- GLASSES
-- MONITOR
-- POSTER
-- NATURE - LIGHT
One interesting/inspiring observation I made from this exercise is the connection of the words "LIVELY & ALIVE" in rhythm and "NATURE & PROVOKING" listed in visual. Also HEART(rhythm) and EYES(visual) are both body parts.
