Jacob Tyler - 625 Broadway - San Deigo

A big thank you to Charlie for the tour, info and fielding our questions.

Below are some notes and pictures from the visit.
sleek and stylish

Red is clear and stated everywhere

Not unintentionally inspiring view from the conference room (duh!).

one of the many very cool mood/art boards throughout their office
Super cool Keith Herring inspired "T" - I'm not sure what the π represents…
Very informative "real world agency" experience.  Some notes I jotted down were:
  • Get good at the numbers, money and financials of business - it is necessary for your survival.
  • Communicate well with others - everyone you work for or with.
  • The client is the center of the universe - at least they should be made to feel that they are the number #1 point of interest to whom you are serving.
  • Treat the client great - visit, dine and play with your clients to build trust
  • Learn to hire well.
  • Good project management is the key to success and growth.
I appreciated Charlies' solid advice in regards to being hired by JT — he suggested that our portfolios:
show thinking and process in order to stand out from other applicants

muggin - and look, my head just became punctuation.  BAM! now that's what's up :)

Good times.
